About
The Sound of Worship
Songs of Substance
For over four decades Kingsway has been dedicated to mentoring and developing writers who produce worship songs of substance, the very sort of songs that feed the church with a message that changes the world.
We work hard to support writers as they create songs of depth and truth. In time these songs become foundational resources both for today and for future generations, emerging as some of the great hymns of tomorrow.
Artistry of Excellence
Kingsway’s worship writers span several generations and can be found in many parts of the world. Together our worship leaders explore and articulate faith in Jesus, stretching and searching for words that build, inspire and instruct disciples, wrapping them in melodies that are both beautiful and memorable. These include Tim Hughes, Delirious?, Stuart Townend, Graham Kendrick, Matt Redman, Brenton Brown, Lou Fellingham, Ben Cantelon, Miriam Webster, Rend Collective Experiment, Chris McClarney and Cathy Burton.
Worship for the Church
Kingsway understands the importance of the local church and we exist to champion worship that originates from within it wherever it exists around the world. Our songwriters share one thing in common: the belief that worship should never exist to serve itself. Combined with this global and local outlook we have a clear view of the importance of discipleship, and we see the role that songs play in helping strengthen, inspire and build the church.
Justice With A Mission
Kingsway forms part of the David C Cook (Colorado, USA) family, a not-for-profit organisation that is dedicated to publishing and distributing leadership and discipleship resources that help Christians. The money we earn from the first world subsidises materials that we make available in the developing world, and covers the cost of materials we give away in the underdeveloped world, building faith and creating legacy for future generations. In our desire to see lives transformed, we partner together with indigenous organizations in India, China, Cuba, Vietnam and many other nations to equip Pastors, Lay Leaders, and Sunday School Teachers with disciple shaping materials.
